This is not a talk show

A monthly reckoning.

Trauma does not whisper.
It roars.

There are moments in life when the weight of what you have survived becomes too heavy to carry alone, and too important to keep silent.

Trauma roars through relationships, classrooms, courtrooms, and communities, and people often mistake it for anger, detachment, or failure.

"Facts Focus Fire" was not born in a boardroom. It was forged in the fire of lived experience, clinical truth, and the unshakable belief that every human being, no matter what they have endured, deserves to be seen, heard, and elevated beyond their pain.

Here, clinical truth meets raw human experience, and the language of trauma becomes the language of hope.

Three pillars · every episode

One fact. One focus. One fire.

01Facts

That heal

Evidence-based truths about trauma, attachment, and healing that cut through misinformation and cultural stigma.

02Focus

That clarifies

A disciplined, intentional lens trained on the people, patterns, and systems that either perpetuate or interrupt the cycle of trauma.

03Fire

That transforms

The transformative energy that emerges when knowledge meets purpose, igniting communities to move from surviving to thriving.

Survivor. Caregiver. Educator. Clinician. Or simply someone who has ever asked why does it feel this way? This segment was made for you.

At the microphone

He speaks from the fire.

Dr. Franklin Edward Shoemaker

PhDLMHC-QSTF-CBTAdoption Competent

Dr. Shoemaker brings decades of clinical expertise, frontline advocacy, and deeply personal conviction to every conversation. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Qualified Supervisor designation and a certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist.

He has walked alongside survivors of complex trauma, children in the child welfare system, adoptive and foster families, and communities too long left without a voice.

He does not speak about trauma from a distance. His knowing comes from years of sitting in the most vulnerable rooms in the world and choosing, every single time, to stay. His voice is steady. His purpose is clear. His commitment to truth is absolute.
